Common Questions About the GlobalChat ROOMS Plug-in

The GlobalChat Rooms chat product has 4 optional chat clients. The GlobalChat plug-in (formerly known as the "ichat" plug-in) is only one of 4 options. The others are:

| AOL? | Use AOL to establish your dial-up connection to the Internet, then launch another browser and use the appropriate GlobalChat plug-in for that browser (see below). |
| WebTV? | Use the HTML chat client that is available at most ROOMS enabled sites. |
| Behind a firewall? | If you are behind a firewall, you will only be able to use the Javalite and HTML chat client options, not the plug-in or Java client. |
| Macintosh? | Use the Javalite, Java, or HTML client options. We do have an older Mac plug-in available below that you can try, but we do not support this product. |
| Netscape 6.x? | There is not a plug-in for version 6.x or above Netscape browsers. You should use the Javalite or HTML client options. |
